Pulled the camera this morning and caught my other neighbors dog sniffing around. This lil guy is probably the fecal culprit. Click image for larger version

If it's their dog doing it go over and ask them to control the dog or at least pick up after him...
If they don't then relocate the poo to their yard.

            Background:

We've lived here for 1.5 years and have had our share of "encounters".
First was she told our boy at school that she was going to shoot his dog, then she wouldn't return his baseballs that cleared the fence. Then she blamed cutter for climbing and looking over the fence when her snot nose uses it as a jungle gym to make faces at me when I'm mowing.
Until I got my gate and fence put up they would come into my backyard and mow several laps, so I would move all my dog poop to those laps as to deter her trespassing. I assume this was habit for her due to the fact that our house was vacant for 2 years, and she kept the fence line mowed. For 3 monthsI have noticed that single pieces of poop would be in my driveway or in my side yard, and I just blew it off. But after my barefooted after dark discovery last week, I will put an end to it.

You go brother. I once dumped a bucket of deer guts in a neighbors yard for continuously throwing trash into my garbage cans and cigarette butts into my yard. I asked nicely the first 5 times.

Ok its time to pull out the ace. Get you a box of these and coat them in bacon grease and leave a few out each night or you can give him some through the fence. That way you will know for sure that its their dog crapping in you yard (CSI) and If he craps anyplace else then the poo slinger will freak out on the multi colored crap. Ps-- it won't do anything health wise to the dog.

If my neighbor was mowing my yard I dang sure wouldn't do anything to deter them. Who is the bad neighbor here????

In... Agree with others who suggest leaving the camera out during all hours, it might be happening in the middle of the day!
