OT- fastpitch bats

I think he was referring to the eye/hand/timing that you have to have to be a good batter. I have heard many batting coaches say,"I can teach a kid to swing a bat but I cannot teach them to hit."

Oh, I agree 100%. If a kid can't hit a ball squarely & solid, no bat in the world will help them, but once they learn how to connect with it. That high dollar bat will make a difference. Maybe not so much a bigger kid but it can really help that small kid.

If you don't think a bat can make a difference? I'm sure no one can convince you, but I know first hand what a good bat can do. I was a home run hitter as a kid. My dad would not buy me video games, nice clothes, nice bikes, or anything! but he always would buy me the best bats out there. I always found that to be strange, but I did not question it.

Heath, I purchased a 2014 LXT from a LS Rep that was at a cage facility in the Dallas Metroplex. A friend of Mine was there and the rep had an extra bat. The bat was purchased in February of 2014. Now the bat has a prominent rattle. The rep did not give me a receipt but I do have the check I used to pay for it. Will the be sufficient for proof of purchase?
