See picture for what I do to mine prior to boiling them. I make the crack with a rounded surface. Then place in pot, add enough water to cover the eggs with about on inch of water, bring to a boil, once boiling turn off heat and cover for 10 min. When the ten min are up I put them in an ice water bath till cool. I still have some that are hard to peel but for the most part get better results.

I had to dial 911 and the Haz Mat team showed up, with some funny looking face mask on them.

I put them in a pan of cold water, set the burner on high, go out in the garage to do something and remember I was boiling eggs 30 minutes later. Run inside to find my eggs cracked all to hell and all the water evaporated. Throw the eggs in the trash and repeat.

I seriously expected it contain "take a swig of vodka" between every step of the process.

The faster you cool them off the easier it will be to peel. Boil for 10 min then ice cold water.

Back when I was eating a dozen eggs a day for breakfast, that's how I peeled them. Was super easy.
