Anybody as excited as I am about their new Protac HL3 coming out? I just got an email saying my order has shipped. I was so excited about these lights I ordered several of them knowing my friends would want one.

I recently purchased a couple of Fenix lights (PD 35 and Tk22) and have been very impressed. Of course those are 850 and 680 lumens respectively. The HL3 is supposed to be 1100 lumens, 380 meter range. Can't wait to mount up on my AR.

I have a few stream lights but this HL3 you speak of sounds superior indeed. I shall investigate said light and get back to you.

It would be nice if they would design one for the 18650 stick.

Is it the internal tube size? I have noticed the 18650 has a larger diameter than the 123s. The Fenix lights I mentioned earlier have a tube that will fit both, which is nice. Since this one takes 3 x 123s, I wonder if 1 18650 would fit with 1 x 123? Anyhow, still excited about the light
