Actually that is not true. There is a hard line Amish community in Gonzalez also. A cardiologist I know lived with them for 3 years and did a study on their heart health. -
There was a community of them in near Stephenville years ago but I'm not sure if they're still around.Comment

I have seen their horse and buggy going down 59 on the south side of town several times. You got to watch out for them especially going around that slight curve. I came close one time......Comment

The Amish here in Southern Colorado are known to bend almost every hunting rule and show no respect to other hunters on public land during elk season. The locals in my town are easy to get along with but the visiting Amish in the summer and fall are hard to deal with.Comment
