My sil was bored the other day He looked at some photos of hogs I have dropped and did some research online this is what he came up with
It is around the size of a 60# hog

Aim for the armpit.

Slightly quartering away(as long as you can see daylight between the two front legs)
aim for the arm pit, the heart is 3 inches inside the ribs are thin where they are connected to the breast bone right in that area.
The same shot as on a Whitetail, is a gut shot, possible liver at best. 90-95% lost hog !!
