who gets a 7 day long change?

7-10 days off for me after each job which usually about the same. I hate it and am ready to come back after about 3-4 days off. I don't make the big money on the couch just the base salary. I'm so used to being gone to the rig from when our jobs were 2-3 weeks I don't feel as comfortable at home. I enjoy the time with my little girl though.

Wish I did. My brother works for lyondell Basel and he loves the time off.

I do 28 on 28 off. Been doin it for the last 4 years. Seems i am always gone for opening weekend though

I work 8/6. Come on Thursday and off on Thursday = 10 hrs days plus ot & calll outs usually leave at 6 am and back by 6pm

I did for 12 years. Been in the office for the last 4. Sure do miss it !

I just started shift work with 7 off ..leaving days may be hard ill find out soon enough...

How offten do you get your long change, our operators work most of thier long changes. I tried shift work for awhile and it wasn't for me.

Startin to get the new guys trained up so they can work most of the ot. They are young and hungry. They can have it! I like my time off.

My schedule varies but I usually work 4 to 5 weeks on and then I get one month off. I really love it. It's not hard for me to go back after the month off because I work international and usually get to experience a new country or at least something different in the same country I have been working.
