Somebody dumped off a really sweet red Catahoula at my house, she even had a mark on her neck where you could tell they took her collar off when they let her out. I talked my buddy into taking her to his kids and 2 months or so later she had FIFTEEN count em up 15 puppies.
Got more than he bargained for that day.

I think they see our animals and assume we need some more. It's ridiculous. And then to see a thread on here the other day with people suggesting a guy "dump" his mules he couldn't give away. You think that hunters would have more sense than to condone dumping but lowlifes are everywhere. The ole "as long as it's not my problem" mentality.

We live right off one of the main routes into Canton. Right before First Monday, burglaries and animal thefts in this area go through the roof. Right after First Monday, strays get dumped off.
Right now we have SEVEN dogs. The last three are First Monday dogs. They're loving life now.

VS
Slow death through starvation without shelter or water
And how do you get in a position to give away something you committed to for the period of their life?
This is my last post on this because I will get too heated over it. Makes me sick.
