Really, set it closer than you think. It is tough to id deer far off.Comment

I don't use mine much most of the time you'd have to sit through the whole day of pics and see only one or two deer on it and they would be way off. if you're putting it some where with a whole bunch of deer movement and I mean a BUNCH it would be cool.Comment

It's not meant to be a tool for counting points on bucks at 30 yds. It's a tool to monitor deer movement over a much larger area than a typical trail camera can cover. If the batteries last for a few months and it shows me when and where deer are entering and exiting some of my hunting areas throughout the season, it will be well worth it.Comment
