    Fox pro help

I have been getting tooled up to work on the coyotes and bobcats. They killed most every fawn I had last year.
Bought a high dollar night visions scope, IR light to put on my suppressed .300

I ordered a Foxpro Shockwave from Cabelas and have been waiting for about a week for it to get here.
It came in this afternoon, I was a happy camper.
Put it all together and it worked like a charm in my office.
Finally it got dark and I headed to the woods.

The caller will not play over 15 on the volume on a scale of 1 to 40.
I was mighty unhappy but hoped it was just the rechargeable batteries were week.
Walked the mile or so back to the house and put in a brand new set of Duracell .

No help. I spent almost $800.00 on this junky thing with all the bells and whistles.

Thank goodness I bought it from cabelas, at least I know I can get my money back.

Anybody have any ideal what is wrong with it?

I have the same caller and haven't had any problems with mine. Is it on all calls that it won't go over 15?

Can you turn it up on the unit without using the remote?

I had a similar problem with mine to where if you go past a certain volume level the call will just shut down and turn off not sure why but it makes the call almost useless

              Let it charge all night
It still craps out at half volume

Guess I will send it back and try a differant brand

                          Buff-

The first mistake you made was buying it from Cabelas! You should have ordered from AllPredatatorCalls.com or directly from FoxPro - then you could have selected the sounds included on the call and you'd have been able to deal with the best CS in the industry. Plus, you could have avoided the sales tax and gotten free shipping.

No worries - CALL FOXPRO and they'll get you fixed up in very short order! 866-463-6977

I just got a Shockwave after years of using the FoxPro Fury GX7 - it's an UNBELIEVABLE caller! You couldn't pry that thing from my cold dead fingers!

What batteries are you using? Like many high-end electronics I've heard it's very finicky about the batteries. After talking to a bunch of people that have been using it since the release, I was advised to get the sealed Lithium battery - it works flawlessly but it's pricey. There IS a setting for battery type. Make SURE you're using, at least, Energizer Advanced Lithium batteries and that you have the 'battery setting' on the appropriate setting for whatever battery you're using. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'd be on the phone to Foxpro straight away! You won't find a better company to deal with.

                          I'm sending you a PM

Yeah, but can you mix any 2 sounds on the caller and control them independently?

And, can you organize hundreds of sounds by user-defined category so that you can have ALL your sounds but have it as easy to use as a call with just your favorite sounds on it?

And, can you you set FoxBang to initiate pup distress automatically when you shoot?

Those features alone are WORTH the extra $200 (Buff must have bought an upgraded battery and a decoy to spend $800) not to mention the new remote is SO much better, with the tactile buttons, that it's like the difference between a muzzleloader and a Remmy 700! LOL! And, the speakers (each has a cone and a tweeter) are the clearest sounding speakers I've ever heard. Plus, there are all sorts of other features that aren't necessary but sure are handy! The more I play with them, the more I like them and find them useful! Logging all my hunts using FoxData (over the next year) will help me better determine the conditions when the animals are responding more aggressively.

Just sayin, if he can afford the extra $200, he made the right choice! Unfortunately, it sounds like he got one of the RARE duds that comes out of FoxPro.

I called they said to box it up and send it back

so now .... maybe.... in a couple of weeks I will get to use my new night vision scope

I guess they never heard of checking them before sending them out
