Will the top blade be harder to get sharp with the curve? Very nice knife.

I think the top blade will be the easiest to sharpen. It's easier to hold a straight edge at the same angle.

Neither. Combine both and they'd be perfect. Don't like recurves (sharpening issues), but the bottom blade doesn't have enough belly to it. You'd end up using the tip drastically more than the rest of the blade. JMHO
