First TX Adventure - Redfish at Lake Calveras
While I will be busy over the next month or so trying to get up and running at my new job and to get my family down here. Last weekend was the only time I had to go out before I start to travel for the next month.
I hired a guide to fish Lake Calveras for Redfish. I ended up limiting out on fish 20-21 inches and lost a monster. I also caught a nice hybrid striper and a bunch of catfish.
It was a very nice day (even though my guide was disappointed and said it was pretty slow). I caught 10 redfish, 1 hybrid and a bunch of cats in 5 hours of fishing. I was happy

I am really enjoying San Antonio! I have eaten at Rosario's (great Tex/Mex) and Armadillo (great hamburgers) and can't wait to try all of the good BBQ in the area.
