    Tripod is finally down

Last night went with my son and BIL. After 16 months since I first got this boar on camera he is finally down for good. I had him last April and a low shot by me took one of his front legs. He disappeared and showed back up in September. I am fairly certain this is same hog. He has been on and off camera since then. Maybe once every couple weeks. Last night he came in at 8. After seeing and hearing him within 50 yards in thick woods for 30 minutes he finally was in the clear. With the moon so bright no light was needed and he took a 1,2,3 shot from dualling .270's. My shot found its mark in the neck and destroyed the spine, but my BIL's clipped a tree and hit him in the ham. He weighed 190lbs. Definitely the most difficult hog I have hunted and a very exciting hunt.
