I'll work on the form. Hoping it will help. Doubt it will be flying perfect after though.

what brand, spine, and how long are the arrows ?
what is the actual DL ?
we're you ever fitted for the bow by a bow tech to make sure it fits you like a glove ? or did you buy it second hand at a good price ?
my suggestion, bring it to a shop where a skilled technician can help you out and tune the bow / arrows properly

Lots of good advice for you in this thread already... One thing that appears might be an issue for you is that you may be over-bowed. Many of the shooting issue symptoms are common in trying to shoot a bow that is just two much draw weight to shoot comfortably... this causes you to hurry up and shoot, prevents you from being able to comfortably settle your pin on the target, makes you squeeze the bow with the bow hand and force it to where you want it to be... Just my observations from the videos, and it is with experience I tell you this... I almost ruined my archery life by trying to shoot a bow that was way over weight for my comfort... IF you had good form and release and still got that flight, the first thing I'd check would be the center shot. You "up and down" appear to be OK. It's left and right that seems to be an issue. This can be corrected by truing up the center shot. Just looking, it appears that your rest may be too far "out" (away from the riser). The way you are torquing the bow though, the squirrely flight could be cause by that.

if u look at the last impact as the arrow leaves the bow it is tail up and on impact the arrow is tail up and to the right. I believe u need to move the rest up and to the right (towards the riser). Paper would tell u a lot, but the above mention of flicking the release and grasping the bow to tight will help. On paper I bet it will show tail up and to the right.

First of all, a couple of questions.
1. Was the bow shooting like this before you installed the new string?
2. Who installed the new string? Is the string in spec with the bow (correct length on strings and cables)?
3. Can you let a friend or someone with experience shoot the bow and see if they're getting the same results as you are in another slow motion video?
4. Can you post a picture or video of you at full draw or shooting the bow from the side? Hard to tell but the bow looks long for you and on the second shot you really struggle to get it back, another sign of a DL too long for the shooter or you're pulling too much poundage.
I've got 2 guesses, either the bow is severely out of tune and not setup correctly by whoever put the string on (cams not synched) or the rest needs adjustment. More than likely the rest wasn't moved when installing a new string, however a new string was attached to the cable to make the rest work but it looks like it's dropping away in time and there isn't any fetching contact but it's hard to tell.
My suggestion: either send it off to a KNOWLEDGABLE tuner if you've got the coin or take it to a shop that you trust and see if they can adjust it. Do I see issues with your form and grip? Yeah, but I don't think it would be enough to make your arrow go side to side like that IMO. You are moving before the shot, anticipating the bow firing (target panic). You can see it really good in the second and third shot and that can also be from being "over bowed" or the bow not being the right length for you.
Also, at 29" and 65#, you're probably underspined a hair with a .400 arrow....I still don't think with a properly tuned bow and a torque free grip, that you'd be having that crazy side to side movement you're having just because the spine is a little weak.Last edited by Daniel75; 02-17-2014, 07:34 AM.

As stated above you are to tensed up and anticipating the shot with the trigger punching. Hold that bow like you hold one of ur women's boobs.
