    Where to eat in Austin

Wife is shopping today and im supposed to be finding somewhere to eat.

    Stipulations:

    Something authentic to Austin
    Not a chain
    Reasonable price

Basically just want something I cant get anywhere else. Huge fan of diners, drive ins and dines as well as man vs food so if any of thosw are here thatd be cool also.

    What say you green screen?

I'm not sure what kind of food you like but when the wife and I are in Austin we like to get Thai food at either Madam Mam's or Sap's. If you're not afraid of street trucks there is also a Turkish place called Kabobalicious that is super tasty. I'm an aggie but I think its worth going to Austin for all the great food.

Moonshine is great. the Mac n cheese oh man.

Juan in a million... it was on man v food, but the food is good too.

Try to hit the food trucks too. there are a couple spots where more than a couple park together.

If you are in Round Rock, there are a couple hole in the wall places.

You have to be there at least 3 hours before they open! Bring a lawn chair.... Great food though...

Last time I was in Austin I ate at Red's Porch over on Lamar. Pretty good food and it's unique to Austin.

I bet there will be tons of people out today.
