    Cool sounds like your good to go. I do add a little vinegar as someone mentioned to the first bath of water I soak mine in for a good hour before draining and icing down.

      Update: First off, many thanks to all of ya'll that said the meat would be good. I almost tossed it. But after overnight soak, then drain this morning I pulled the quarters out to clean them up (Since it's going to be hot the next couple of days I went ahead and decided to put the quarters in a brine bag and let them sit in the fridge for a couple days). No odor on the ham in question everything cleaned up nicely. Appreciate the help!
