I actual had 5 405gr bullets from my 45-70 bounce back to me one time while shooting at a piece of sandstone at about 50yrds in a gravel pit one time. When I was done shooting I started to walk twards the target and 5 foot in front of me i found all 5 rounds flattened out about the size of a silver dollar in a 3ft circle. Boy did I feel dumb but also lucky.
