I do believe so -
I think El Nino Southern oscillation (ENSO) means wetter for Texas (drier in northeast) while La Nina cool phase is the opposite.Comment

It will probably be hot and dry through summer and then start raining around Labor Day. This will have everything plenty green once bow seasons opens.Comment

Of course, they add the disclaimer, "not all El Nino's and La Nina's are created equal."

As things are looking now it looks like there is a chance we will once again fall in El Niño which for out drought conditions here in Texas is bad!! Means warmer dryer summer with a significant less chance of a hurricane or anything tropical coming our way as well.Comment

El Nino means a wetter cooler summer for us in Texas.
La Nina means hot and dry for us....remember 2011...that was a big La Nina year.Comment
