First off let me say that i know that there are alot of folks on here that have a big prob. with Viking Archery. I personaly dont for one. Anyways, im in Alvin and they are the only shop close to me that deals with Hoyts and i have had the itch to go shoot the new Vulcan. So last nite me and my fiance, Huntin*Honey went out there to shoot our bows and to test some new bows. I shot the Vulcan and also the Vectrix. The Vulcan IMO is one of the best bows that Hoyt has ever made. With the new vector cam and 1/2 and the new sting dampiner (I think that is what its called), it makes for one awesome bow. It is so fast and very very quiet. I thought that my 06 powertech was fast. SHEEEEIIITT!!! That baby was rollin out. There was absolutely no had shock from what i could tell and did i mention that it was fast!
Moving along. The Vectrix was almost just as good. Dont get me wrong, it was a great bow to. I dont know if you can tell but, i am sort of a speed freak when it comes to bows!! He He He. The Vetrix was just as quiet as the Vulcan and there was no hand shock with it either. It was very fast to, but not as quick as the Vulcan which is the only thing that i didnt like. I know that speed isnt everything in a bow. Over all both of em were great bows but i think that when i get back from the BAO this weekend and after Christmas, santa is gonna be stoping by my house for a late Christmas present for me in the name of a new VULCAN!!! He He He
