woohoo! we may lose our man card for a while but when it comes to keeping the wife happy I'm thankful for pinterest! the table looks awesome, some really cool stuff on pinterest! Just finished this little project.

Yes, yes it is! I can't even begin to count how many things I have built because of ideas shared with me from looking at Pinterest.

Although, I'll admit, I have been able to buy some tools because of the projects.

This is generally how Pinterest works:

Wife: check this out!
You: cool.
Wife: Can you make one for me?
You: I guess.
Wife: I'll pin it to my project board.

2 weeks later.

Wife: when are you going to make that thing I showed you?
You: what thing?
Wife: You know that thing with the really cool thing-a-ma-jig.
You: Oh, I don't know... I don't remember what it looks like.
Wife: Let me pull it up.
You: Okay, but can I do it a little different?
Wife: Sure, that's fine.
You: Okay, I am going to need to buy such and such tool because I think it will make it better. Also, can I just use this and that material... it'll be cheaper since I have to go by that such and such tool.
Wife: Okay.

2 weeks later.

You: Check out what I made.
Wife: Did you use that new such and such tool?
You: yeah!, uh, umm...
Wife: When are you going to make that thing we talked about?
You: yeah... about that.... ummm okay.

2 weeks later.

Wife: Thank you for making that thing... I like it.
You: You are welcome.
Wife: You did a really great job.
You: Thanks babe!
Wife: Hey, do you think you could make me this too?....
You: Sigh....

It's always as I am tetering on the edge of sleep that my wife, on her phone, says "hey, look at this cool awesome amazing chingaderra that someone put on pinterest."
I say that's nice and roll back over.
