The only way to get the odor out is to get all the urine out. Which is way easier said than done. No matter which cleaning product you use, the urine is still there long after you can no longer see it. That's why you need a blacklight flashlight...

The worst part is if you don't get it absolutely clean, the cat will smell it and come back to the same place again and again.

On a side note, the blacklight flashlight is also useful for finding scorpions.
