Hiring a CNC Machinist soon in Porter

We are a small christian family owned and operated shop located in Porter,Tx. We are wanting to hire someone with with some machine shop experience. Familiarity with Mazak Mazatrol controls is a huge plus because all of our cnc lathes are Mazak. Experience on manual lathes and mills also would be helpful. Any knowledge of bobcad programming software and/or g-code programming on cnc mills would be a tremendous advantage. I am not totally opposed to hiring a young man with little experience but the person must be a hard worker that learns quickly and has good math skills and attention to detail. Pay would depend entirely on knowledge and experience. Anyone hired would be on a 30 day probationary period before becoming a permanent employee. Good work ethic, self motivation and dependability a must. No drugs and no drama!!! Must be willing to work Mon-Fri 7am-5pm. Please PM me for more details if you are interested. Thanks- Josh

Bump for fellow machinists. Ive been keeping an eye out lately myself... 20yrs programming and running CNC Lathes and Mills, about 3-4yrs on manual lathes. Ran FeatureCam for a couple of years ( Lathe only ) and been using GibbsCam the past 6yrs ( lathe and 4 axis mill ). Started out programming on the machine in 1993. ( Fanuc ) Strangely enough I have never run a Mazak......

Too bad you are out in plantersville....would love to have somene with that kind of experience. Mazaks are a breeze compared to alot of the other cnc lathes I've been around. We don't even use a programming package with them because their built in conversational programmng is so simple and quick to use. I have over 1000 programs that I've written with the built in software stored on just one machine. I'm going to post an ad on craigslist early next week but wanted to see if any TBHers needed a job first.
