Buddy and I are trying to line up a helicopter hog hunt for late March. We can go pretty much anywhere in TX for a good hunt. I assume S TX is somewhat tougher to get on them because of the thick brush. Have any of you been recently and do you have recommendations? thanks!

My nephew flew a private ranch around the Freer area and loved it. I don't think the brush is so thick once you get up in the air! -

I have heard good things about cedar ridge aviation. I have done it once. Got envited to do it near goliad. Almost 300 pigs in 2 days. It was there second year to do it. The year before they killed more.Comment

I watched Aporkalypse with Ted Nugent and the Pig Man. They flew with heli-hunter and highly recommended them. That's an option but they're pretty expensive but maybe they all are.Comment

Heli-Hunter flew over my neighbor's ranch a couple of weekends ago and they killed 2-300 pigs on Saturday. I don't think I'd have the ammo to afford that hunt!Comment

If the chopper idea doesnt pan out.. I can drive you around, strapped to a high lift, at 90 mph in s.tx for $500 hr.. even supply lunch (Wendy's or McD's).Comment
