I was raised on it. I am from the Mississippi Delta. It is still a way of life there.

    Try these:
    junior kimbrough
    t model ford
    r l burnside
north ms allstars (they covered alot of burnside tunes)
    taj mahal
the Mofro station on Pandora is great too. Lots of blues influence.

One of my best buds' wife used to work for KNON or whatever it was called before she died (RIP Joan). She knew a lot about the blues and made me a cassette. It has:

          - Albert King
          - Lamont Cranston
          - Howling Wolf
          - Buddy Guy & Junior Wells
          - Fenton Robinson
          - John Embry
          - Big Walter Horton
          - James Cotton

Timeless music that gets into your soul and stays there.

If you like SRV. Try listening to some Tab Benoit.

You probably already know this song (he does the theme to Sons of Guns):

I listen to it, along with all the rest. My wife and kids think I'm nuts cause I like so many different styles.
