We used Demon without success - actually it would work until it got wet outside and we mopped the floors inside. Then we used Tempo SC by Bayer. Even thought it rained quite a bit, we went 4 months without seeing a single live scorpion, spider, grasshopper or anything with 6 or more legs. You can spray it inside and outside.

I know a fun thing to do that works, I was amazed. Buy a purple light and go shine at night around the house and flower beds. They light up Neon color. They don't run or hide either.

      Off season hunting

Talstar on the whole yard as often as the label allows. Copper mesh in the weep holes will help. If there is construction in your neighborhood you will see them until it stops. Treating any area outside where they harbor has to be the plan.

Try some dusting sulfer, it has a little but of an odor to it but it will keep everything away rats and mice to spiders and scorpions. I have travel trailer at the lease and i use gloves and cup to spread it under the trailer. Works great!!!

We had a professional come and it ended the problem we had. We were killing 2-3 a day and scared to walk barefoot anywhere in the house. Now...no mas. Happy wife=Happy life

He said to bug bomb the attic twice a year. Said to do it as we were leaving for vacation of going out for the day. So you might try that.

these two product is what did it for me.

Cyper WP is a generic of Demon and is used outside due to residue

Talstar P is sprayed along base boards and around plumbing etc. It does not leave a visible residue.

This and a couple of black light flashlights to hunt them outside with has taken us from 10-12 per week in the house to only 3 all last summer.

beat me too it i was going to recommend the black light outdoors,, even in doors the little buggers shine under black light and there are couple videos on u tube that shows them......
the glue traps for mice are wonderful, they dont need baiting, and they last for months,,, we even caught two snakes on them in the house,, they hit the glue, get really ticked and start rolling and flipping over, then they glue them selves to the floor!!! if the glue is strong enough for snakes it will make short work of a scorpion,, and spiders fair no better,,,, so if it crawls or walks there good to have, even caught the chiuahua with one,,,,, he was big enough to walk away but wont go near one now!!!
i have a very serious problem in the fall with catapillers on my archery range floor,,, thousands of them,,, glue traps are my friend!!!

the demon sprayed around, black lights to hunt with and glue traps also,,

I will probably never forget the night I was laying in bed watching tv with the hubby and one crawled right up the side of the bed into my lap... I've never moved so fast in my life! I can handle snakes and spiders and just about anything else but scorpions give me the heebie jeebies!

I have done a lot of remodeling in my house over the years. One thing I have done is if I ever remove a base board, over the years I have done all of them, I sweep boric acid between the walls. The powder will stay in there forever and does a good job.

When my son was having his house built he went and sprinkled it between the walls as the house was being built.

Wish I had done this. Scorpions infested my house during construction, had I treated inside the walls etc there would have been no issue. Instead it too me 2 years to beat them out.

I'm the same way, snakes, spiders and all those don't bother me one bit but when it comes to wasps and scorpions... nope I'm done.

They were worried about having a bunch come in their house. Some old timers told them to get a bunch of horse apples and place under their house. They did it and have never had any in their house and pretty much any other bug. Not sure why or how, but it seemed to work. That was around 21 yrs. ago. I have also heard about using Demon as well.
Another critter to nite hunt ! This truly does work as my son has done this !

The nite light, not the horse apples. Don't know anything about that.
