    In need of blood.

Started my catahoula on tracking today at the BPS class. She showed a lot of drive and did exactly what she was supposed to do, found the deer! I've got several pieces of hide, just need blood. Thanks

Congrats on the tracking, I enjoy watching mine work through the woods tracking.

Do a search, lots of threads about where you can get some.

Stupid question, does it have to be deer blood?

That is a good question, I have no idea. Anyone?

Blood is blood. You can use pig, or deer blood, you can even buy it at some markets of other cultures.

It is funny that if I cut myself my dog is on the spot sniffing it real quick.

Also you want to train them on liver shots.

It was a short class by the National Lacy Dog Association today at BPS. It's not an ongoing class there. PM Sika on here, she's the one who put on the clinic. She might be able to let you know about any classes.

                Any blood will do.

Meat packing places will give you all you want or sell it really cheap

I did notice the other thread telling about it. I had to work today so
It would have been a no go anyway.
