African Hides Pillows

Got mom & my aunt to work on some pillows for me. These r some of the the back skins I had tanned. The darker ones r from my Kudu & the one in the middle is from my Springbok. They came out better than I anticipated, they did a great job I think! I helped a little(cut n stuffed)
Lol! I've got some other backsides left to do. Any other ideas? Besides pillows??

Good taste! My office couch pillows are Kudu backskin from the Kudu I shot.

For other ideas you can cover the tops of foot stools and the seats of wood chairs with upholstered seats.

Did they have any problem sewing the hides? I figured you would need a special needle to go through tanned hide.

No sir, just bought needles to sew denim at Walmart.

I have a ton of back hides also that need to be made into something. I am seeing some pretty kewl stuff here at the SCI Vegas convention. I really need to do something with all those hides soon. I may take some pics of what I see.

Just remembered this post from back in February. Anybody have some pics of other things to do with backhides of animals! I have at least 10 at this point.
