I just built a new one today and restocked a few good baits i've lost over the last couple weeks. Just curious what everyone else is throwing. You can be willing to bet if you cant catch a fish on something in this box they just aint eating!
Looks like you got it covered . I've never wade fished . I've always been scared of sharks . Even though I flounder gig . I've been talkin about going for the past 2 years just never got around to it . This weekend should be good with the sun coming out .
Its litterly looks like you just stole my two 3700's. With the exception of those 2 popping lure's in the center of your second pic.
Those are tidal surge crazy croakers. Works just about like a corky. I actually riveted the two boxes together. I popped the smaller box onto the lid of the bigger plano.
Yup we have similar tastes in lures. My only difference is pumpkinseed/chart ttf trout killers, norton sand eels in pearl salt/pepper, and devil eyes in plumtreuse. Love the she dogs in bone that's my go to top water! Other than that our boxes are the same.
Just got home brother! Getting it together for a quick wade on the way to work in the morning! Low tides and cold water gonna make it tough but who knows!!
Not at home to take pics but for winter wading I carry a couple of corkies, couple of catch 5, 1/16th ounce jig heads with plum or texas roach sand eels, and spook jr. Summer time I carry a corky floater, spook jr, strike pro crank bait, 1/4 ounce gold spoon, un-weighted 5/0 EWG hooks and gulp shrimp. Most of my fishing regardless of time of year is done in less than thigh deep water so no need for toting around too much tackle.
You carry some gear for sure... Looks like 500 yard wade box's in the back of the refuge.
Good luck in the morning. Have you hit any incoming tides in the evening yet?
Unfortunately im working evenings. Been catching the high whenever I can. I will be glad when it matches up with my days off. Anytime I can get in around the high ive done fairly well as long as the water temp is over 52.
I carry 5 lures, three different colors. Pink Rapala Skitterwalk, Pink Rapala X-rap for the days they're just blowing up on the top water and not hitting it, purple/chartreuse 5" hogie, Norton Bull minnow in Red Magic, and a pink Fat Boy. If I can't catch fish on these, I don't want them.
