I was out feeding horses this morning, when I looked at the treeline and saw a coyote heading for the back pasture, I ran inside, and grabbed my Remington 700 in .243, unfolded the bipod, and waited for my breathing to slow down. Meanwhile, the coyote leisurely strolled into the back pasture, and started to dig a hole (why? Dumb yote!
), I put the reticle right behind his shoulder, squeezed of a round, and watched him fall. When I went to go look at him, both front paws were still in the hole he was digging, talk about dead on the spot!
One shot, .243, 245 yds, heart shot, dead yote!
Seems like everyone's killed a coyote this morning (I've seen at least 3 other threads), so keep a look out for 'em.
