my wife has been complaining of "sounds" in the attic. being the good mate I am I set a rat trap; not a mouse trap, in the attic close to the attic door. well the trap hit something and it ran around in the attic for a couple of days before finally getting stuck on top of the attic door.
today I went to get it because it still wasn't dead, on the contrary it was still very much alive. when I pulled the door down there it was, head in the trap and all.................it didn't care it was running around with the trap. I went and got the .177 GAMO......................nothing like a .177 pellet pushing 1000+ fps to take down a monster rat! took his head clean off..........really.
