Whats a good pig sticking knife?

Gonna be taking my daughter pig sticking soon and wondering whats a good knife for her to use? This will be her first time so I'm sure she's gonna be a little scared doing it. Im a assuming a finger guard is a must?

I've killed them with a pocket knife, but I don't recommend it

A 6-8" Bowie knife such as the Buck 119 will do.

Finger guard is a must! Any good sturdy knife with a sharp point will get the job done. Just like anything else the more damage done the faster they die. I use a cold steel "leather neck".

7" blade, just right for hogs.

Had a client use a bayonet that his father had given him. It's was razor sharp. I have never seen anything cut into a hog that easy. I was a little worried about the length coming out the other side and cutting one of the dogs. But it was so fast and clean it wasn't a problem

I inherited my Dad's old bayonette from Korea. Something in that style will work fine

Ive killed more hogs w/ a case knife than with all my guns combined, theres a trick to killin em quick if you roll em over when you catch em as opposed to grabbin the back legs and stickin em in the side ( i dont like or allow that around my dogs unless we are in a bad spot) if you catch and flip em and place 1 knee in the neck and 1 in the gut then pull the front leg up it will expose a real soft area in their arm pit that you can dang near run a butter knife into, makes hittin the heart super quick and easy.

Any good knife will do but a Kbar Bacon maker kills them faster than any knife I've seen.
