How are the roads around the Metroplex?

Most of the snow has fallen since I got to the office at 7:30 this morning so I have not been out in it. As I look out the window, traffic seems to be moving at close to normal speeds. How are the roads around the Metromess?

The slickest spots are where you need to stop at lights and stop signs. Braking and sliding seems to be packing the snow into ice in those areas.

It's no trouble in 4wd, but of course the idiots are out.

A lot of schools are closing early, which is gonna screw things up further. I'm only still here because we're bringing in babe's chicken. After that I'm sending the guys home and goin to get the little guy for some playin!

Roads are very slick. Saw 3 wrecks northbound on I-35E south of downtown Dallas. And even with 4wd, my truck slid a bit at intersections and in a parking lot. Go slow and drive very carefully out there.

My wife is in Weatherford. The schools are getting out at noon. She slid twice taking the kids to school at 8. She is picking them up now and got stuck and had to be pushed.

Been out all morning and the roads are not fun. I have 4wd so it helps but the intersections are SLICK seen a bunch of accidents.
