Isn't there a Foxpro that's right at $200? Maybe the wildfire? You can check out the reman foxpros too. They don't always have them though. -

I have the Foxpro Spitfire, $200 range. Think it is their basic (cheapest) unit. I must say that I have full confidence in using it though. I've called in many yotes, some cats, and foxes. Not mention I've had deer, crows, and hawks respond to it as well. If it can fool all those different crittiers, it works!Comment

I'd search the predator calling and trapping forums and find a used Foxpro Fury GX7 or Fury II. If you have a little patience and look around, you'll find one for $250-$350 with a whole ton of sounds. While you're waiting, save up an extra $100. You'll be a lot happier, I think.Comment

I got a wildfire last week. Took it out and didn't call anything in. It was really wet, and cold. The 1st area I went to my cousin was moving bales of hay so I think that affected that area.
