Glad all is well, but drag his butt away, we had one die on our old lease about 50 yards from one of our feed areas and it stunk for about 6 months.

One of the first times I was hunting by myself I passed some cows on the way back to the truck in the dark, no flashlight, only a bow backpack and chair.. the cows couldn't figure out what I was and ran after me then would stop a couple feet from me. needless to say I ran as fast as i could and THREW my bow in the bed of the truck to get in faster

Haha! That carcass eventually rotted away. It was never touched by buzzards or coyotes as far as I could tell.
