He may not have any family left to leave anything to.

Not bashing that guy for what he wanted just definitely not how I want it for me.

It's obvious you didn't read the article.

His sons helped him build the casket.

His daughter thought Dad was quirky but was cool with it.

Dad also bought 3 plots to make sure his wife would be buried beside him.

Sounds like a pretty tight family to me.

I guess they could have hired an attorney and gone after power of attorney over him. Then not let Dad make one decision on his own the rest of his life because he's crazy. He dies a miserable death then the 3 siblings get a few grand a piece after taxes on the sale of the Harley.

          ;-). ;-)

              Overkill rules!

On the flip side when I was a kid mom used to tell my brothers and I that when she passed, she wanted a no frills funeral and to be "buried in a cardboard box". Now I get her point but I found that more than a little disturbing when I was young.

While it may be self-aggrandizing, it is his choice. Kind of like driving a Lamborghini while you are still here.

Heck Justin Bieber has a private jet he paid for with cash!

Wonder if they filled the tank with gas before they covered him up.

I agree, this dude deserves to have his wish fulfilled. Justin B. on the other hand needs someone to take him behind his pool house and kick his punk ...

My luck I would fall off the bike en route!

The man and his sons applied for permits and spent the last few years designing a "stand" to keep him upright on the bike. The bike had to be drained of fluids and they placed it in a septic tank holder to prevent soil contamination. It took three burial plots to fit it in the ground next to his wife. Pretty neat story.
