    Hunting Gum Slough

Has anyone had any experience hunting hogs at Gum Slough?

I've been wanting to get out and chase some bacon and this seems to be one of the closet places around.

What say the green screen? Advice, input, etc. anything would be appreciated.

I was wondering the same thing. Looks like it could be decent, and it is nice and close to town. Up we go.

I called the wardens out there to get their take. They said there are definitely hogs there, but it can be tough because of the archery only and no baiting. There are a group of 3 or 4 guys that hunt it pretty regularly and they have killed hogs out there but not sure if any lately.

I'm really all so new to this. I never had an opportunity to hunt growing up. I have a bow and have been working towards hunting pigs out there at gum slough. does anyone have any advice? are the boundaries marked well? I went out there today and was on what I thought was part of the property according to the map, and there were none of the boundary signs, however there was a "no hunting, restricted area" sign. I don't want to "cross any lines" haha. am I able to call a game warden out there before I go out for a hunt or when I go scout?
