    super duty help

My 08' is probably getting close to needing shocks. It has stock sized tires and I pull a lot of heavy $@&$.

Heard good things about bilstein , but what model 5100?
Are front and rear the same?

Open to any other suggestions, as long as I don't have to adjust them.....ain't nobody got time for that...

I've heard alot of good about the Bilstein 5100's. Check out the Fox and Icon shocks as well.

I have Bilsteins on my truck (Tacoma) and they are my favorite non-rebuildable shock. As to your question, I'm not familiar with the newer Fords, but Bilstein's website should help. If you're lifting the truck, you might want to call Bilstein's sales tech and ask. 10 years ago, there was a guy there named Shane who was awesome in explaining which shocks would work with varied modified setups. I have no idea if Shane still works there, but I would ask for him first if you call about shock applicability for modified setups.

I heard alot of good things as well about Billsteins. I talked to a salesman at 4Wheel Parts in Austin and that is what he was pushing. Plus I think they are very reasonably priced.

Bilsteins 5100's are the only way to go if you haul a lot. They are stiff when you are empty but nothing to terribly bad.

just put bilstein 5100s on my friends 3/4 ton chevy and my cousins 3/4 megacab dodge. They are an awesome shock and super easy to instal. the fronts will be different than the rears. Make sure when you order you check and make sure you arent getting four fronts or four rears. If you want to spend the money though I love fox shocks. Icons are great too but do have adjuster knobs and you mentioned you don't want to hassle with those.
