    Nockturnal Nocks

These nocks freakin suck I bought the color red and I was not satisfied at all with the brightness or the turn off feature will never buy again

My husband bought some for the first time and shot one. The first/only one he shot shattered when he released his arrow resulting in a semi dry fire situation & injuring his hand/making it bleed. We took pictures but didn't do anything- not the litigious type. But will never buy any of their products again. Didn't care to shoot another one.

This was a purchase a month ago.

Sucks to hear but this is what happens when you add the name "rage" to the box... The older ones are awesome!

This is a first for me.

They've been BY FAR the best lighted nocks that i've tried (luminock, tracer & Nocturnal).
They last much longer, always work and I've never had one break. Very dependable off and on.

I've heard that since Rage BH's bought them there's been some changes, I hope this isn't the new direction....

Dang. I have had good luck with em so far. They are a bit of a pain to turn off but otherwise no problems.

i'm going to have to disagree, I've bought many packs of lumenok's and Nockturnals are far superior. I like the Red and Pink for intensity and the turn off feature is candidly what i like. To many lumenoks were put onto the arrow too hard and it turned on and too many improperly slid in and didn't work. Nockturnal is simple design.

I'm not disagreeing with that the nock blew up . . . I'm glad your husband is ok but that particular part of the arrow is the most liable for breakage. Sometimes nocks are tight and i've found i've cracked them when putting them in or twisting them. I've personally shot nockturnals 100's of times without a single blow up and with very few failures to work.

Might look at firenock i've heard they are pretty good and a similar design to nockturnal.

Before the Rage bashers show . . . . I've shot plenty of NT's after the rage buyout.

Pretty much the same story for me, except I have had one break. I shot a practice shot and it was like 20 degrees outside and I had already shot it quite a bit, and run it through a deer. I love them. Only one I will use.

It was probably just bad luck. But all it takes is one and when its the first/only experience it definitely puts a taste in your mouth. They came highly recommended, that was the only reason he decided to give them a try.

I haven't had any problems with mine but they are a pain to turn off

I love Nockturnals! They are by far the best lighted nocks I have used and seem to very reliable.

Tip for those that do use them: Before you shoot an animal with them, smear a little bow string wax in the hole where you turn them on/off. This will plug the hole so no blood gets in and will not inhibit turning them off. They will last twice as long.

For those saying it is a pain to turn off, that is the main selling point of these nocks the fact that you have to turn them off. They won't shut off after hitting the ground or going through an animal or hitting the target like the lumenoks like to do. Kinda defeats the purpose to whine about the key selling point.
