Looks like Shadow Hunter has stopped making their Blind Elevators judging by all the stores that have quit carrying them and the "out of stock" listings. Bass Pro has them for $99 plus tax, Gander has them for $90 plus tax. I never paid more than $74 when Academy carried them. I used them on all of my blinds and was worth every penny.
I really dont want to build a blind with straight legs do to the height 9due to stability issues, I dont have a welder so making a steel platform with angle leg mounts is unfortunately not doable.
I could cut the wood 4 x 4 legs at the appropriate angle but mounting them to the 2x6 wood base has a tindency to put too much pressure on the floor of the base due to the fact that is where the top of the legs mount flush to - then lag the legs to the 2x6 base frame.
For you fabricators, do you think you could fabricate a set for less than $80 or $90?
