Red Stag

I am looking for a Gold or Silver Medal Red Stag like they have in New Zealand. Does anybody in Texas have any that big. I'm looking for one with well defined crowns. This is her hunt she wants to go on.

I saw some good ones at the flying a in bandera but they are very selective in what they kill. Record buck ranch had some good ones a few years ago. I would give J-J Matt on here a call. He has stags on the places he guides.

Shot this one as a management stag at record buck. It was an end of the year special and I think I paid $3500.

This one is from my buddies place just east of Amarillo. It scores in the 350's. Stags do great in north texas if you find a ranch up this way. Good luck. They are fun to hunt, great trophies and good eating.
