    Shotgun help

Ok so I have outgrown my youth model mossberg and have been lookin around for a new one. I think I want a semi auto but don't think I NEED one. Max price would be about 450$ 500$ wich is really impossible for a semi auto but you never know. Anyway If y'all have any suggestions on what I should look at let me know thanks

try the remington 1100 or 1187 out, both are great guns, i have an 1100 and my dad has an 1187 and are both deadly with doves. what will you be shooting?

Never skimp on a shotgun. You need the gun that fits. Once you find it, it'll be th only shotgun you ever need.

No problem, in that case you should really look more into the 1187 because the 1100 can only hold 2 3/4 inch shells i think(or mine does at least). The 1187 can have different chokes and can be used for all your needs. I know its a little more priced than what you wanted but its worth it. Maybe buy a used one thats in good shape. But champion firearms here in college station sells them for a little over 600 bucks. And they are really easy to clean

I used an 1187 for years. During duck season it would often end up so dirty I would just hose it down at the camp with a garden hose and spray some oil on it. It would not actually be cleaned until duck season ended. I did this for years and the gun never jammed or failed to feed. Great shotgun.

Also if your thinking about a pump, look at the remington 870s. They are great guns and are a little under 400 at some places.

Mossberg 835 is what I would suggest. Can load up the 3.5s for the ducks geese or yotes, and still run the 2.75 for the dove and other small game.

New, in your price range, I would take a look at the CZ 712.
