What Implements would you say are needed for a Food Plot?

Gonna get some land soon hopefully and plan on doing some plots. Northeast Texas. What would you say I need?

Havent decided yet if I need a tractor or if I can do it with utv/atv implements. Will probably plant about 25 acres total.

For 25 acres you will want to use a tractor.

25 acres is a big food plot.

      Implements depend on the soil.

Initially a chisel, then a disc.

I would talk to your neighbors and get their opinion. Heck you may be able to rent or borrow one of their tractors or hire them to do it for you.

If you are buying land you will probably want a good tractor anyway! They are too valuable not to have one.

Depending ......... At least 1 acre, a soil sample, and imperial whitetail clover

Depends on what vegetation is there now really...and soil type.

I would say that for year after year planting you will want and need a tractor, brush hog, disc, chain harrow, three point seed hopper/spreader...

25 acres with an Atv will never happen. Tractor, shredder, 5-6' disc, dragline and a pto seed spreader or drill and a fertilizer/weed sprayer.

This would be in the sulphur river bottoms. Probably 3 smaller plots totaling 25 acres. Plot areas are already clearedcleared just need a little weed control
