Been hanging around for awhile, and finally decided to make my first post. I'd first like to say how great this community is and also very informational. Since it's my first post, Im going to have to have to brag a little now... I started hunting three years ago with a long time family friend. He is an avid bowhunter, and convinced me that if I was to start hunting I should use a bow. I had successful hunts my first two years, taking bucks each year, but this year I shot my biggest buck to date.
He came in to the feeder around 6:45 AM, and I didn't have enough light to see my pins. Around 7:05 the feeder went off and gave him a quick scare, but he quickly came back. About ten minutes later, with not much daylight, I couldn't wait any longer and took the shot. He was broadside at 33 yds. The Rage did its job, getting a clean pass through both lungs. We followed an easy tracking job about 60 yds, and there he was. He's not the biggest buck in the world but I'm proud as hell of him.
(Sorry the picture is so big I don't know how to change that.)
