    Archery math problem

I am trying to convert fps to mph.

If I'm thinking correctly you would divide fps let's say 300 by 5280 (ft in a mile) then multiply that by 60 (one minute) and that by 60 (one hour)

So 300 fps would be roughly 204mph?

1 foot per second (fps, ft/s, ft/sec) = 0.681818182 miles per hour (mph) = 0.3048 meter per second (m/s) = 1.09728 kilometer per hour (km/h or kph) = 0.592483801 knots (kn, kt or kts)

That's just another way of doing it and a more accurate way, you did it right.

              Ok thanks guys.

Thinking of doing a little radar gun testing of fobs vs blazers out to about 70 or so.

I don't quite trust myself to shoot thru a chrono at 70 yards
