Riu Caribe and Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas

Anybody stay at these before? Looks like its gonna be one of these two.

This probably isn't much help, but I stayed at a Riu resort in Cancun and it was incredible. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

My SIL is getting married in Cabo at the Dreams resort in November. They went down there in May and checked a bunch of them out, I will see if those were ones they looked at.

I stayed at the Riu Palace about 8 years ago and had a great time!

Which ever one is 1 1/2-2 miles from the marina/town, I have. Spent Christmas and New Year there, one year. Good value when I went. Buffet food is, well Buffet food, but the dinners are good, and you can make reservations for nice restaurants that are on property.

Oh. And Sammy Hagars house is/was the third or forth house down toward the marina, past the RIU.

RIU resorts are pretty nice, have been to a few and liked them a lot..

Watching this. Wife and I are looking for an all inclusive somewhere and Cabo has fishing!

Stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo. Hated it. Nice rooms, drinks were not good, food not good. But it's all-inclusive,so take what you get. The beach out front is a straight down drop to the water. If you're looking for a beach vacation by the water, this is not it. We got to see several ppl picked up and body slammed by the surf. The local peddlers actually drove us insane. They keep them roped off from the hotel beach area, but if you cross the rope to go by the water, they were all over us. Beware the time- share sales that go on in Cabo as well. Do your homework (trip advisor is great) or they will trick you. Can't beat Cabo for fishing and would go back if it was fishing only, but the harrassment by the local peddlers ruined it for us. Just my experience, you may love it.

One more thing- I would suggest Redrum Charters if you are going fishing. English speaking, very professional.

Been to all 3 RIU nice, secrets marquis is better the zoetery is the best. Cabo wabo is a must have fun .
