The Florabama is a land mark but it is a hole in the wall place. I would say fishing and more fishing. There are some cool attractions in Mobile and if you head to Pensacola then you have to go to the Naval Avation Museum! It is dang good! Some of the best oysters I've ever had came from those waters around Pensacola and the seafood is great.

charter boat fishing with Zeke's (I believe) , golf, good groceries, take kids to water park, live music at the HangOut, etc ...

FB has since rebuilt and it's much improved as the scenery is still the same

We'll be there at the same time. The Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola is awesome. There is the USS Alabama, fishing, Fort Morgan. If you have kids, there is a pretty neat go kart track and Alligator Alley is a good place to kill a couple of hours. I plan on trying to take my 9 year old for a day offshore fishing and we will be crabbing and fishing the canal at my wife's aunt's house.

At that age I would go to a pier. I would not take a 3 and 6 year old offshore fishing.
I fished with the Hot Spot out of Zeke's several years ago and killed the snapper and spanish mackerel, but with kids that young I would go to a peir. Zeke's used to take your name and match you up with 4 or 5 other people who wanted to go on a charter to split the cost if you only had one or two people wanting to go in your group. I guess they still do that.
I don't know if you will be able to catch trout under the lights during spring break, but I know in the summer you can kill them with light line and no weight with live shrimp. just free float them with the current under the lights.
The kids will have fun just walking out on the pier and seeing everything thats going on on a Friday or Saturday night.
