Large black hog bred

Getting ready sometime in Feb. to raise some pigs for meat for the first time.
The bred of pigs that I'm getting is called Large Black Hog they have the biggest floppy ears I've ever seen on a pig. So what are the things I should know about raising pigs for the first time?

They eat allot and stink allot

theyll need iron shots b12 shots and teeth clipped and tails docked all within the first week of birth. and yes they do stink like no other way easier and cheaper to buy it already processed at the store lol. goodluck to you amigo
