Someone shot my feeder, up for less than a week!

I set up a feeder out at our place in Holland 8 days ago, today. I set it up for hogs, seeing their tracks around the tank. Well I went out to check out everything on Saturday to find (2) bullet impact spots on the mechanism box. Thankfully, it still works. Glancing hits coming from my neighbors fence line. Looks like .22. They're very bold and obviously sending a message, but I won't put up with that crap! What will be the best route to go? This is a first for me.
    What I found,

Call and report to the GW. It is illegal to shoot across a fence. Let him investigate it. If anything else, it should scare the crap out of them

Waiting for a reply from the game warden now! No trail cam pics of the mischief, but it faces that direction also. I'm not optimistic about it surviving long.

A buddy and I looked for quite awhile, no luck. Needle in a haystack!

Here's the setup, by the way. I plan on putting a ladder stand in the Live Oak or building a permanent one up there.

That sucks! Trespass by projectile if they shot across the fence or trespassing with a firearm if on your side. Just vandalism.

I bet there are .22 shells laying on their side of the fence. Call the law.

Yeah, I need to get another. I plan on putting a second out ASAP. It's a little over 100 yards from the fence.
