With the mini drought at the Brokenarrow we're trying to stay on the hogs and coons when ever possible to let the deer have first choice on the corn and protein.

I shot one coon at about 9:15PM, had a pass through, went and got the arrow, climbed back in the stand and by 9:30Pm I wacked another.

Them things were everywhere tonight.

Last nights pictures showed the hog around 1:00am.

I just couldn't stay up that late.

Mathews MQ1. It's 10 years old. It's not as fast or as quiet as my brother Brokenarrow's Switchback but I can still hit what I want with it.

Well, at least tonight.

We're north of Gonzales a little ways. No real rain in months. All three tanks are dry. It's bad.

What buld are you using?

I think I need to upgrade the bulb to get some more light.

And another battery.

I use the tactical light on top for the coons but then I've blinded my night vision for the hog light.

I could keep one eye closed but then I have a hard time lining everything up.
