Anybody use this brand of camera? I bought a used one and don't know a lot about it. Pros or cons.

Smart scouter
I have a friend who has one this is theshort and long of his story: bought it, it worked well for one yr, AFTER purchasing EVERY Accessory offered to get a good sign. After one yr it quite working. send it back for repairs...9 months later and a long list of phone calls .... he gets it back.... it worked well for 6 months then started acting up again.. currently not working.... he put well over 1
$1,000 in it over all... after he told me his story it was a no brainer....I don't even consider them as a scouting camera....
...I talked to the Head guy at Smart Scouter about my friends ordeal and he prmoised me al kinds of free gear and discounted prices, following it up with "you wont have those problems, I personally guarantee it"....
....still not enough to make me change my mind. -
Why would you buy that when you can get a covert for less money?Comment
